Marketing services provider, Sports Alliance has added an eighth Premier League football club to its increasing client list after engagement by Queens Park Rangers to manage the London club’s complete data-focused marketing output.

The agreement, concluded after a comprehensive tender process, incorporates a single-view approach to the club’s entire database across ticketing, retail and hospitality as well as community and website sign ups. The deal also incorporates full campaign management and reporting in support of the club’s aim to enhance campaign relevance and to increase singular brand awareness across the UK and overseas.

Full campaign management will incorporate responsibilities to design, scheduling and fulfilment of the club’s e-marketing strategy with ‘real-time’ reporting options to allow ongoing valuation of targeted campaigns, including generated revenue.

The agreement means that the London-based company, which also has offices in The Netherlands and Spain, as well as interests in Germany and France, now has a portfolio of 24 British-based sports clubs who are supported by Sports Alliance’s range of data management products which enhance the supporter relationship process and enable targeted and relevant marketing activity.

Sports Alliance Managing Director, Anthony Khan said: “Queens Park Rangers have a clear vision for their future marketing programme so we’re delighted they have chosen Sports Alliance to manage their entire database activity. The club is focused on effective and relevant communications with its fan base and for us the partnership represents a significant landmark as we are providing and managing the full solution. We are extremely excited to be working with QPR on this project and supporting them in their aim to be a market leader in supporter relations.”

QPR’s Customer Relationship Manager, Jon Davies commented: “One of my first tasks after joining the club In April was to identify a specialist CRM agency we could work with who had experience in the sports and entertainment sector. Sports Alliance had successfully run individual projects for the Club in the past but after they presented a full data management and marketing strategy proposal, we were in no doubt they were the perfect fit with the Club’s future plans.

“Sports Alliance received glowing references from other Premier League Clubs they currently work with and after seeing their capability for seamless integration with our Ticketmaster data feed, we felt that engaging with them as our full-time CRM agency was the logical next step. We thoroughly look forward to having Sports Alliance join us on our CRM journey over the coming years.”
