Highest paid players and managers
Highly respected French magazine France Football have released their annual list today of “The wages of the stars.”
According to France Football, there is “still no recession in world football” with the leading trio this year (Lionel Messi, David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo) generating more income than the top three two years ago.
In addition, the earnings of the top 20 mark a new record for France Football.
It is important to note that the list notes combines salaries and commercial earnings, which explains David Beckham’s position in second.
