Arsenal Football Club has revealed its new online boot room, set up by online football retailer Pro-Direct, making players’ exclusive footwear available to supporters for the first time, www.arsenalbootroom.com.

The boot room will stock Nike Mercurial, CTR 360, Total 90 Laser and Tiempo Legend boots in the exact colour schemes and designs favoured by some of Arsenal’s top players.

The store’s professional boot personalisation service will also give fans the chance to emulate players’ boots right down to the names, numbers and home flags stitched into the leather, or to individualise them with their own personal design flourishes.

The specially designed boots will be available in all sizes and for all surfaces, including astro-turf and indoor.

Arsenal player of the year Jack Wilshere knows how important it is to wear boots that feel right for you: “So much of the game is in your head and it’s important you feel right in what you’re wearing. My boots (Nike CTR 360s) feel so comfortable. When the ball comes to you they give you a nice soft touch. They’re a light boot which is great for getting around the pitch – I think they’re the perfect boot for any midfield player. The technology in football boots can really help your game. It’s important that you have boots that are right for you. ”

Nick Peel, Arsenal retail director, said: “We’re really excited about this latest addition to the Club’s online retail offering.

“The partnership with Pro-Direct is the first of its kind, giving our supporters the chance to get their hands on top quality boots, which they’ve designed and personalised themselves in much the same way our players do. We’re thrilled to be offering our supporters this service.”

The launch is supported by an Arsenal Football Club led marketing campaign which includes traditional print advertising in the Arsenal Magazine and matchday programme as well as full digital promotion on their website, emailers and social network sites.
