Mars offers consumers the chance to play football at Wembley
MARS®, the UK’s No. 1 selling substantial bar, is building on its longstanding association with football by launching an exciting new campaign, ‘MARS® Win & Play With Your Heroes’, offering consumers the chance to win once in a lifetime prizes.
Top tier winners will win an exclusive prize of a personal letter from Fabio Capello inviting them to the Wembley Stadium, home of England football, where they will be met by the team coach and taken on a tour of the grounds.
Following the tour, winners will then be able to take part in a warm up session led by two current and two former England players, going on to play an unforgettable 90 minute game on the Wembley pitch! The campaign will also offer consumers the chance to win 100s of fantastic runner up prizes of tickets to England home matches at Wembley.
Consumers can enter by texting in their 10 digit unique code printed inside participating promotional packs, or they can also enter online at www.marsbar.co.uk. The Bars will be available nationwide in both Single and Duo formats, featuring a fresh, new design, communicating the competition.
A full range of tailored POS will also be available to retailers so they can make the most of this exciting launch in-store. ‘MARS® Win & Play With Your Heroes’ will also have extensive media spend support, including £6m on a new TV advertising creative to drive consumer awareness.
