Liverpool Ladies today confirmed they’ve secured a new sponsor as plans continue to take shape for the FA Women’s Super League (WSL) season.

Total Fitness have agreed a two-year deal with the club, who are also in talks with other potential new sponsors, ahead of the campaign’s big kick-off on 14 April.

As part of the deal, Total Fitness will have high visibility around the ground at Liverpool Ladies home matches, which are to be played at Skelmersdale United. ESPN will broadcast live games and highlights programmes.

Liverpool Ladies will receive full Total Fitness gym membership for the squad and staff, and the provision of training facilities. Total Fitness will also have a large presence at pre-match family fun days where young fans will have a chance to try out equipment.

Further sponsorship packages are still available for the start of the season.

Colin Charlton, director of Liverpool Ladies, said: “Total Fitness is the perfect fit for the club – a hugely respected company that promotes the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

“We’ve received strong interested from other potential sponsors who are keen to be associated with our brand and as we take the step forward into the FA WSL, it’s a great foundation for the club’s plans for success.”

Chris Done, business development manager at Total Fitness, said: “It’s a fantastic time to be involved in women’s football, particularly as the FA WSL is about to be launched and we’re delighted to agree the sponsorship deal with a club of Liverpool Ladies stature.”
