Nivea launches the ‘Great Football Experiment’

Nivea for Men, the official supplier of the England Football team, has launched one of the biggest experiments in football to prove ‘preparation is everything’.

‘The Great Football Experiment’ is seeking a below average, amateur league team to embark on a 9 month England standard preparation journey – to put the theory ‘preparation is everything’ to the test.

Any team constantly struggling with relegation, or fed up of a weekly thrashing, can log on with the details at www.niveaformen.co.uk/greatfootballexperiment.

The selected team will receive regular training sessions from FA coaches, access to a sports nutritionist and sports physio, and special guest sessions with Ray Wilkins and Ray Clemence.

The team will also be kitted up with grooming products, as well as a quality team sports kit.

The drama will be broadcasted on virals on the website, as the team will be filmed throughout the campaign by a special Great Football Experiment film crew.

Ray Wilkins said: ‘From my experience preparation is definitely everything. If you get it right on the training ground and in the dressing room then you’ve got every chance to produce the goods on the pitch. This is a fantastic experiment and I am certain that we’ll be able to turn any team into a well tuned machine’.

The deadline is the 10th April, and teams will be shortlisted based on football banter and star potential, before the selected teams are put to the public vote via Facebook.
