UEFA Marketing Chief Le Floc’h to leave

UEFA’s long standing Marketing Chief Philippe Le Floc’h is leaving European football’s governing body after a 10-year career because of a major restructuring of UEFA’s in-house commercial arm.
UEFA sent a letter to broadcasters lat week to explain that UEFA Event will be split into 2 divisions, Operations and Marketing. The main characters of the new structure:
- Guy-Laurent Epstein will head up the Marketing division responsible for all marketing and commercial activities, including media rights sales.
- Martin Kallen will run the Operations division which will oversee Euro 2012 and all other UEFA events.
- Philippe Margraff will be Euro 2012 Sales Director, notably in charge of the tournament’s sponsoring and hospitality programs.
- Alexandre Fourtoy will take over the vacant position of Communications Director, taking responsability for all content production and communications.
