Irish Football Association wins marketing award
The Irish Football Association’s Marketing and Communications Department has been recognized for its 2009 marketing strategy by winning the prestigious Chartered Institute of Marketing’s UK award for Small and Medium Enterprise.
This is the first time that the IFA’s Marketing & Communications Department has been recognized. The winner of the award has been judge on several criteria including innovation & creativity, time and budget management, effective return on investment, and customer satisfaction.
Head of the Department Geoff Wilson said:
“A lot of our marketing work goes on behind the scenes and people may not realise the amount of time and effort that goes into marketing such things as a league or cup launch, as well as all the other initiative that go on throughout the year, and I cannot praise the team enough for all the hard work they have done.”
