Versace to dress Inter Milan

30 June 2011 No Comment

Versace will be dressing F.C. Internazionale during the 2011-2012 season. The contract, which was signed by the Maison and the Club, refers to the official suits for directors, coach, technical staff and players. Elegance, tradition, comfort and adaptability off the pitch are guaranteed.

All of the traditional sartorial expression of the Maison has gone into the design of the F.C. Internazionale suit to be worn on all official occasions for the club and the team, paying particular attention to the Nerazzurri colours. The suit is in super 130s wool with a two-button, sewn jacket in ink-black and a cornflower blue pinstripe – just like the Inter colours. The shirt is poplin stretch with a button-down collar and concealed buttoning, with black internal detail contrasting with a cornflour blue background and a Derby shoe in black calf-skin with contrasting cornflour blue laces.

A black calf-skin belt with a rectangular buckle and Medusa design. The silk brocade tie has been exclusively designed with the club logo in the centre. In winter a single-breasted cashmere coat will be added.

Gian Giacomo Ferraris, Chief Executive Officer of Versace SpA, stressed: “We are very pleased to dress F.C. Internazionale, because this club has familiarised the world with the style and top quality of Italian football as Versace has done in the field of fashion and luxury: this pairing could not be better.”

Ernesto Paolillo, F.C.Internazionale Chief Executive, expressed the club’s satisfaction: “Not only are we happy to work with one of the most famous Maisons in the world, with their unmistakable class and style, we are also assured of the high professional qualities of Versace, which allow us to work with a Group that has been able to combine our practical requirements and elegance.”

Versace and F.C. Internazionale: unmistakable style and elegance on the field together from today. A winning combination for two of the great representatives of Italian class throughout the world.
