UEFA Announces Euro 2012 Ticket Prices
UEFA today announced the ticket prices for the Final Tournament of the UEFA European Football Championship, to be held in Poland and Ukraine from 08 June to 01 July 2012.
The most expensive ticket for the Euro 2012 final in Kyiv, Ukraine will cost 600 euros ($810), UEFA announced today as it unveiled ticket prices for the championships.
The cheapest, category 3 ticket for the showpiece is €50 ($68). Category 2 tickets are €330.
For group matches, UEFA announced that the cheapest seats will cost €30. Top-price tickets for group matches cost €120.
UEFA claimed that in conjunction with the Polish and Ukrainian football federations and local organising committees it had put in place “a transparent and fair ticketing policy with the aim of offering affordable prices for all 31 matches”.
“The purchasing power of local citizens has been taken into account when deciding on prices and the cheapest tickets will cost 50% less than at UEFA Euro 2008 in Austria/Switzerland,” UEFA said in a statement on Tuesday.
